ok fountain owners taking guesses
OK my 93 fever has a 502mag in it supposed to be efi which came with the boat not sure why they pulled it lol. some ppl right?
Anyways have a build plan for my 502 taking guesses on top speed.
The build: 502mag with EFI reinstalled and tuned by mefituning out of Wichita KS. 525hp camshaft sporl performance valve springs and cups. modified intake runners (machined down to even with the plenum floor and cut down center dividers in runners port match heads etc.). crane gold roller rockers and stainless marine exhaust manifolds. boat came with a couple different props so not sure which one im going to go with yet.
ballpark guesses on speed hoping for mid seventies. think this is achievable or not? lets hear it.

I had the same year straight bottom 27 and mine also had a carb. With a single plane intake, roller rockers, cam, and emi thunder exhaust it ran 69.5 mph on gps with a 23 mirage plus turrning around 5400-5500. I would say you will be similar in power so I would guess the speed would be similar. I never really got a chance to try other props other than a 24 hydromotive, which was 2mph slower but also only turned around 5200rpm.

Well if I was going to go through that much trouble to raise the. -dimension I would wait till I could come up with a black hawk and a few spare parts and put a hawk on it.
Blocks at machine shop going to stay carbed for this year and get everything up and running. Then I will make some changes next winter and put my efi on it then and have it tuned.
