Default Underwater LED's on a Fountain....

So last year I bought some red led drain plug lights, and like everyone said AFTER I ordered them they are pathetic. So I finally bit the bullet and bought two VisionX Subaqua LED underwater lights. So now the question is, where do I mount them? Since our swim platforms on Fountains basically touch the water, how high or low should I go?

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Pictures? Anything and everything will help. I don't get them for a few days so I have a bit of time to research before I drill........

That's what I was going to do mount mine on my tabs. I thought the one in the drain plug and one on each tab should be pretty bright I would think.

I've never seen the tab ones. May add those later. Still just trying to find where to mount thru transom.

There are several tab styles on eBay... I am trying to convince a friend to buy them first incase they are junk before a I buy.. Hahaha. There are some you can change them 3 different colors. That would be cool!

I've heard red can do funky things in the water. True?

Red doesn't project as far but I don't have any blue or green in my boat so I think it would look funny.
