Looks like I need to find a stock Bravo 26p. Tried one tonight and boat would run 5100 with 3 big guys and 3/4 tank of fuel. My buddy tried my prop and his 29 with a carb 500 could pull about 500 rpm more with my prop than he could with his which I had on. I have a stock 28 which I will see if it can be labbed back to 26 or will search out where to buy a 26.

B blades. They are awesome to deal with and probably have notes already on what will work exceptionally well with your exact setup.

I had a 29 with a single 525SC. It came with a hydromotive prop that was a terrible choice. Went to a labbed 28 but still had issues getting on plane. Swapped the lower for an IMCO -2 and went to a labbed 30 P Bravo. Added large k-planes and solved the planning off issue for the main part - still had some minor blow-out but the boat seemed to like the shorty. From what I recall, she ran a consistent 77 - 78 mph.

I know I'm jumping into this late, but I have a 2002 29 with a 500 efi-running a 4 blade 26 rh. I am also hitting 5300-5400 WOT, I get on plane fine, but am lacking the top speed as I reach the rev limiter, I'm usually running with 1/2- 3/4 tank of gas, 4 or 5 adults, cooler and gear. It looks like the previous owner of my boat possibly reworked the prop, so I would also like to try a stock 26. I've also talked to a couple buddy's who recommended trying a mirage plus 3 blade 27-anyone try this? I can also get numbers when i get back to lake the lake compare them with you guys.

I'm pretty sure a 4 blade prop will work best, I believe your x dimension is too high to run a 3 blade. I'm sure you will experience a blow out condition.

got myt prop back and hope fully its better. last weekend, I tried a Power Tech 26 P. It works almost identical to the stock Bravo 1 and they are half the price if anyone is in need a new prop, you may want to save some money and try one.
