Default Anyone know about this 38' Lightning? Choosing between this and 32' Fever...

Picked it up and brought it to Legend Marine this morning to have it looked over, just wanted to see if anyone knows about this particular boat? Or if you have any feedback or input on it I would appreciate it. I'm picking between this 38' lightning and an 01 32' Fever with twin 500EFI's. Reggie reports on both are within .5 mph of each other. Not sure how that's possible, I'm guessing because the 38' is semi staggered? Thanks.

seems to me that those 2 boats aren't really comparable. The 38 is much larger than the 32.

Bigger is better. If the 38 checks out go for it!

Ya I know it's not a fair comparison, these are just the two particular Fountains that have made the cut... lol.

I'm chomping at the bit to hear back about it. With any luck I'll have her on the water this weekend.

Thanks, if for some reason it falls through I would be happy to share my findings with you if you're interested.

If the 38' checks out, it's no doubt the better boat. Having ridden in both on several occasions, the 32 is a nice piece, but a little short if you run in any decent size water. The semi staggered set up on 38' makes for great handling and all around performance.

How does one even compare these 2 boats together?

Ive only riddin on/driven a 35 Lightening. I hate driving it...

It puts the 253 to shame in the ride department, LOL.
