I have seen 86mph with 24p 4 blades @ 4.8 psi, The previous owner said low 90s on his labbed props. I think it has 267 hrs

Wow. 24p sounds awfully small for that boat with that power.

Boat has 267 or the motors? What speed are you at 3000rpm, 3500rpm? I think it has 1.36's is why 24's , do you recall what size the labbed props were?

Correction
----------------
5500rpm
1.3 ratio
96mph
-10%
86mph

And yes they are smaller... The faster you spin drives, the less gear wear

Mark I'm more concerned on a good cruise speed than all out top end, any advice, suggestions on that?

Yes ICU & thank you.... Tony I think those would work for cruise if I upped the boost to at least turn them to some what higher RPMs, W/ the hours on the engines I'll hold off on that till I can go thru the heads.

Heads are fine, no need to pull them off unless Steven did something to them. Do a compression check if you are worried. lifters are new as of 200 hrs. Also i sent you my cell number if you wanted some pics i took right before sale. i have video clips of it running and holding great idle. If you want to run 26's that fine. I still have those and some more Black pulleys in the garage. Only thing that gets crappy is inside those MSD distributors.
