Rob, Your 89 Fountain is great, I am assuming old school technology,, very easy to work on, if needed, and maintain,,,and,,,,no ,computer box with 52 sensors, or whatever they have on the newer boats, that go goofy occasionally , so you don 'have to pay some repair shop $95. per hour to try to diagnose the code for some sensor and hope they get it fixed by the 3rd. time they diagnose it, i've seen that happen lots of times on several of my friend's newer boats,, your engines and drives look like a pretty much bullet proof combination, well done.
I looked at a 1988 , 31 Bullett last year , all stock old engines and drives, old interior, on a junk trailer, he was asking $52k , he got $50k for it., just sayin.

dude i know about 95 hr . riggs dinged me for 22 k to do all the converssion of old to new .. he supplied my imco steering , and sent the trannys to be built up , and did some magic on the tall decks spacing vs 9.8 motors , i know what it takes n costs . getting the parts is just part of the puzzle to building a truely dependable HIGH performance BOAT . that can handle 1500 hs . 1500 ft pounds of tourque . can run 6 k for ten miles . and when you let off they idle like a lion ,, .. not slip some parts together go for a ... start youre engine and go on offshoreonly n ask wht my motor doesnt carry oil pressure .. its expensive to play . but dam enjoyable , and if done right they stay together . and if you want the good chit you better bend over cause its going to cost you . the hull is cheap part of a boat . many say 1989 ... i say 2014 with top shelf chit fellas .. kiss my ass daddy ...

Rob,,, I believe Daddy means the guy that paid $50k for the 1988 Bullett I was talking about,,,, that boat was very worn and weathered, and the trailer was not road worthy
,it was ugly too.
