I've towed with a 2008 F350 powerstroke, 2013 F150 eco boost, and my newest edition a 2015 F350 powerstroke. The new powerstroke makes it feel like there's nothing back there. My F150 pulled it great and handled well but I had airbags on it.

i drive cars daily and have and old 92 c3500 dually to tow with. ive got $4597 in the truck after 3 years sitting on alcoas. the random price is because i had to buy a $47 starter. yea its a big block and only gets 14 mpg but you can never have enough big block powered vehicles around. (uugh uugh uugh in my tool time tim voice.)
we towed my boat to cumberland (3 hours) with a 2014 gmc half tons. we were loaded down heavy with fuel and ice and gear. id imagine about what you would be for a normal weekend. it didnt like the hills (mountains for everyone else in the country) but it did the job and never felt like we were hurting the truck.

I pull my 32 Fever with a Cadillac Escalade. I think the biggest part of it is that the boat is on the trailer right so the weight is distributed evenly and it should pull great with about anything with a V8 in it.
