Well the drives on the boat work fine but I don't really expect them to last very long with 1300HP pumping through them. I would actually be surprised if I made it through the season with that power and those drives. I'm thinking I might baby it this season just to get through and then over the winter try to locate a good set of Konrad 540 or 540 PRS's to replace them with. Just trying to figure out if that is really worth it.

I also noticed this older 12m in wisconsin, looks like a pretty clean boat/decent price

That is a really nice boat but I don't want something that big. I really like 29-33'. And for that price I can get the 10 meter and put Konrads on it.

Don't want to throw a wet towel

you are aware that it looks like some photoshop on the stern - not sure if that was to remove the name??

In the bilge -- there some pink -- what leaked out and when

all the best

Ya I asked about the stern and it was to blank out the name. I didn't notice the pink in the bilge so I will have to take another look at that and thanks for catching it! I've let it be known that I am going to be very thorough before I drive 10 hours there to see it in person and give it a test run. I just want to go there, check it, run it, and bring it home.

87Sr311, If you buy the Fountain and want to ditch the Speedy #2s, I might be interested in the drives. I had speedy 2s on my Scarab and fried them at the beginning of the last year. Id like to put some back on to make the boat original.
