Default Thru Transom or Thru HUll

I have a 2000 38 Lightning w/ small steps. I want to get away from my drives being my water pickups. Have any of you changed and where did you place your new water pickups?

I asked the same question a few weeks ago and nobody responded , so I picked up a pair of adjustable pick-up's and mounted them right next the drain plug as soon as I finish putting it together I will let you how it works

Look forward to hearing how it went. I am leaning towards the thru hull. The notched transom is proving interesting to work with. I have plenty of room in from of my engines to work with and can get them pretty close to the end of the running surface.

That is why I went with the adjustable ones , so I can try to get the water pressure where I want it
