Default 09' 42 lightning windshield paint or powdercoat?

I am changing the color of my windshield from white to blue. Any benefits to paint vs. powder coating? one better than other?

Thanks in advance for the input...

I would go for paint. Did it last winter and it have been strong. Powder is hard to get even, and If it is too think, it will peel off...

I had mine painted by a local shop and it turned out great and has lasted very well over the last few years. I went from white to red on a red 38 EC. Used chemical paint remover to remove the powder coat. Good Luck

Powder coat will fail because it is an aluminum frame. They just bake it on there without the correct primer. Aluminum secretes oils . So you have to use epoxy primer or something first. Just use that and regular car paint.
