Default 2001 Fountain 29 Fever / Mercury Racing 565DTS Install

I wanted to share a recent project that we have been working on with a customers Fountain 29 Fever. The boat originally came in to diagnose a engine issue and during the inspection we noticed that the transom was flexing. We looked further into the issue by coring a hole with a hole saw, this uncovered the rotted transom. The engine was then removed for stringer and bulkhead inspection, the results there were not promising. At that point the project took a turn, for a new transom, stringers & bulkhead. But the new owner didn't stop there, they decided this would be the perfect time to repower and bring the boat into the digital world with a mercury Racing 565DTS & ITS Transom assembly. Pictures will be up shortly.

Thank You,

Cool project, I'd like to know what it runs when it gets dialed in. My 29 is the same year hull, I'm currently having an engine built out of my 500efi that will flirt with 600hp. Keep us posted

Holy crap, I think that might have been my brother in law's boat he bought new. It would have come from Silver Sands in Gilford NH. I found it a few years back and the dash had been upgraded at that point as well as some other items, but then I lost track of it again. Not many with those graphics.
