Default 42 big step with 6s that run over 100mph

Curious on the ones out there how the water pickups are set up? I’m having some porpoise issues accelerating after 98 mph. I have a strong feeling I’m disturbing the water off the back of the boat. Let see some pics. Thanks !!

Adrenalinejunkey’s has 4 pickups. 2 for engines 2 for chillers. Pretty standard install, either side of center line.

Im identical to that. I also have 2 pickups for the chillers on either side of the drain plug. What would cause this thing to lift and break the prop bite at over 100. Spins 17x33-15 rake

Going to have to space down. But I’d think you could go to 17.5”. If the drive are moving 1” something is loose.
