The herings are going to be alittle faster, but a set of mercury maximus 5 blades will be your best bet.

I read the diffuser comment, but I guess I just had drive spacer in my head. Lol. Being on the lake of the Ozarks, even if it will run low 90’s with a little lower x and get on plane better, I will be happy. Not many times you get to do a full speed rip at LOTO. Just curious, what’s some of your guys cruising rpm at say 3500?

Here is the Fountain test sheet for a 2005 w 525s, standard bravo XR & 32” bravo props.

The boat will cruise 50 mph @ 3400 rpm with a full tank & fully loaded including the Bimini top up (but closed)

The OP's boat has a 20" X-Dim. Weird....must have been playing around with the height on supercharger boats.

I'd definitely go with a spacer to keep it simple. Why Frankenstein a prop when you just might need to replace one later you can go off the shelf.

Here is my sheet. As you can see, it ran 91.5 even with a really high x.. but if my prop slip is too much that could potentially cause that would be my guess.

With that test sheet Terry the test driver should have seen that there was some sort of a problem that boat with 1150 total HP it should have been in the low 100's for MPH

I will hopefully know what these 1.5” spacers do after the weekend. I will let you guys know. 90-92 would be more than fine with me.

Boat was just ran it with the 1.5” spacers. Gets on plane way better. Haven’t topped it out but 86.2 gps briefly running up to 5-5100 rpm’s. Still has quite a bit left in her. I am sure it will probably touch 90.
