Default Mooring cover poles?

I have a mooring cover for my 47 and 3 poles, I see 3 "sleeves" where the poles go but the poles themselves are pointed on the top. These are like the ones that go through the rings but my top has no rings???? Am I missing something or is my top/poles mismatched. If i just stick them in the top of the pole seemls like it will rip through. I need to take a trip with it in two days and need to get it right. Any Ideas"

Sounds like a mismatch to me. Stick them in upsidedown maybe? Or wrap something around the point to make it bigger and not so sharp. Might solve your short-term problem until you get the right poles. Ray, your email did not work for me. Tried to send pics and also tried just a message. No go. I did find a pretty good picture on boattrader.com. Look at the 2001 47 from Ketchum, OK.

Default tennis balls.....

Mine has a hole for the pole, mis-match.
Put a slice in a tennis ball it will work for now.
I use it on mine to protect the secondary cover from the point.
Look forward to seeing this boat done.
I was next to a 47 in cumberland this year, what a difference
20 feet makes. Size does matter. john
