Some of you newbee's might not remember when the Merc HP stuff was all black 10 years ago.
You kids are so spoiled now with those pretty blue HP's
Here it is...the day we took delivery of our 93 in 97.
I thought these were the bad boys back then....LOL

Things look a bit different today, after lots and lots of $ not to mention plenty of aggravation!
BTW...nothing was reused down there...only the engine mounting brackets.

Actually, the plugs in between are the easy ones...I just lay on my back on the diamond plate and reach under the manifolds.
The plate is removable...takes buy 5mins and its out.
It has (6) 1/4 turn release pins...those handles for the fuel and A/C have clips that just pull off.

So far its been to 90 but still have a bit left in the boost dept...
With that setup I think the boost was just under 6psi and the rpm was 5350...this was spinning the blowers at 1:1.
When done we're looking for about 7psi or less and 5500rpm...using the 2%OD pulley combination.
Then just hope the drives hold up.

Going to see Mitcher T this Saturday too look at Ray's 47 and talk about the artwork we want done.
