38 Fountains

How do the the 38 lightnings ride in 4-6 footers??
Also they seemed like a 35 footer compared to a cigarette top gun. What do you guys think of the size of the 38 lightnings???

38' Fever
here we go Back to the beak and platform thing.

I have an '89 36' Fever which is the same as a '90 38' Fever which is the same as the newer 38' Fever and same hull as the 38' Lightning without the steps.

How does it compare to a TopGun? The TG is a bigger and more expensive boat and handles completely different. I would compare the 38' Fountains to the Cafe Racer even though the Cafe seems like a bigger more solid boat. I love my Fever and it is what I wanted as far as size and amenities. The 36'/38' size designation had no bearing on my decision to buy the boat.

98 42 fountain twin 500's
if you want a boat that handles like a sports car get a fountain. if you want one one that handles like a family sedan get a older cigarette.

The Fountain 38' is perfect for lakes and I think is most home in 3'-5' seas...We don't have big water down here but I can promise that you will love the boat and the acceleration/performance will put a smile on your face for many years
