I purchased the Frenzy kit which included the vinyl cleaner but my boat is new and cleaning the upholstery was not an issue. The vinyl protector and cleaner looks and acts like Armorall. On previous boats I had my best results with Mary Kate vinyl cleaner. I am sure you will get many replies to this thread, good luck.

We used Vinyl Shampoo from BoatUS and that worked great with a nylon brush for our Fountain, it was filthy when it was trucked open cock pit from Southern CA to Wisconsin.
Along the same lines, does anyone have a suggestion for the cabin surfaces..in particular the lounges.

Re: Upholstery Cleaner
1. I had a new hatch put on the boat and therefore had a significant difference in vinyl coloration from the back seat to the hatch. I sprayed "OXY" cleaner (I know I do not have the name exactly right) let it set for 5 minutes as directed and it took out dirt / grease, whatever it was that I had tried number cleaners to get the stuff out. Really looks good.
2. I use this method to polish the vinyl and make it look shiny if it is dulled out (don't laugh, it works, but it is messy), I take a circular low speed buffer, place baking soda on the vinyl, dampen it, place the buffer on top and slowly work it around. Keep the powder wet! Then spray it down with a hose.
Baking Soda is an excellent cleaner and polisher even in the bilge area. Next time you have bugs stacked up on the hood, grill or windshied, place some on a damp/wet cloth and go to town. Be generous with the powder. The bugs litterally disolve! .

Re: Upholstery Cleaner
Just wanted to clarify: The Frenzy 4-Pack contains Vinyl Protectant. This is not a vinyl cleaner, it is a conditioner (unlike Armor-All). The Orange Concentrate in the 4-Pack can be used to clean vinyl. If your vinyl is really bad, try using the Waxing Frenzy on it. Sounds weird, but it takes a lot of the imbedded dirt and stains out without harming the vinyl. You really want to stay away from using scrub brushes on the material, if at all possible.
