Default Fountain Spitfire

What is a Fountain Spitfire edition? A friend of mine just purchases one, it's all red and measures about 29' 9". Anyone know the history behind this model?
It's a 1988 also.

Thanks

I've got one myself. Mine's an 89'. It's just a trim package they offered. Kind of a cool boat if you like red. I hope he bought his right (under 30k) and it's not too trashed.

Got it for 22k, needs a buff job real bad, but hull is free of sratches. Needs at least half of an interior. Has 425 horse 454s with 28 hours on them. You wouldn't have any interior pics would you?

22k's not too bad. How are the drives, panel, trailer etc.? Must have the old style throttles? I'm waiting for a new panel and throttle/shifters. I'll sell my old one cheap if your friend is interested.
