I am interested in getting an onboard camera system much like the one pictured below
http://www.freezeframe.us/onboards.cfm I am not a racer. I just want to capture the places SAW34 goes to and the waters that SAW34 will be running in. I would like it permanently installed. Can you tell me more about these systems? Cost, wireless/hardwired, website for more research and what you can reccomend.
I would like the system to automatically take a still photo every 15 mins while running and take a 5 minute video recording every half hour while running.
An ideal system for me would be such that I can easily remove the camera (unscrew the camera) when I've reached my destination.
In the image it seems that there is black eletrical tape surrounding the base of the camera and a nylon zip where the base is bolted to the deck. Can you explain what those are for?
