Let's hope the weather is the later instead of the former forecast. Time will be the judge.

Bob, what time will your group be leaving the Sanibel bridge? We can hook up as you go by New Pass.

Terry,

Not rough at all. I checked the NOAA weather service and it is the same as described in 502SCS post # 10.
Seas 2 ft or less with light chop in the bay. Winds 10 - 15 knots NE. With an onshore breeze like that it is a piece of cake, even for the smallest boats. As you know you can run fairly close to shore for most of the way if need be.
We will keep an eye on it.

No 5 to 7's on the weekend. See my previous post. If you are coming from Miami why not launch at Marco and run with us up to Naples to meet the group as they head south. It will be a shorter drive for you and will knock 25 or 30 miles off your run each way. We can direct you to good ramp if you like. Let us know your plans.

Dennis,

My plan is to run north from Marco along with Cig42X [ John] and Larry Jones in Masquerade and meet the group at the Gordon Pass [ Naples ] rendezvous point. That is where Capnate, Smithboy, NaplesBaja, Springbrook et al will enter the Gulf from Naples.
To this point there have been no set arrangement for the Cape Coral/Ft Myers/FMB/Bonita boats to meet for the run south to Naples. There may be 12 or more boats from that area.
For them to make the 30 mile trip down to Naples I would think the fast group would need to leave the Sanibel Bridge at 10:30 to be there for 11:00 and the not quite as fast group leave 15 min. earlier say 10:15 ish. I know you will want to run with the faster group in that Skater.
Would you or someone like to organize that group thru this forum and bring them down to Naples? I can provide contact information for the non OSO's attending if you like.
Bob

Bob,

I will be getting to Marco Friday afternoon, what time on Saturday do you want to meet to run north, and where do you want to meet.

How about the mouth of Marco River just give me a time.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Give me a call if I don't hear from you by Thursday I will call you.

I hear the tides have been extremely low we all have to be careful going in for lunch.

See you soon.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE.

John
