Going Bigger...

Wanted to show you guys the pics of the new boat. I sign the papers next Friday. The only problem is: I need a name for it and I thought you guys could help me out! It's a Baja 405 in case anyone had problems figuring that out...

So post some ideas for a name and I'll let you know what I pick!

Ideas so far:

Bad Decision
Offshore Drillin'
Bullish
Currensea
Spoiled
Beef Curtains

Congrats Craig. Looks great. Will give some thought to a name for you. I'm sure there will be some good ones posted. How is that new tow rig working out ? You're all set now.

With that awesome chair in the front of the cabin....I think "Offshore Drillin" would be the way to go!

Second vote for "Offshore Drillin"

Nice boat Craig! Are you buying it up north and hauling it down, or buying it down here?

Congratulations!!!

Very nice Craig!!!!! I think with the chair like that in the front you should call it "The Stabbin' Cabin".

Lookin' good Craig. You boaught a boat big enough to suit your trucks !!

Names:
Wealth Management
Butterfly Spread
Premium Option
In Stock

I'd probably avoid "beef curtains" as a name. Unless you're not interested in getting any on that boat.

Guys,

Thanks for the suggestions - keep 'em coming - I have until next Friday 6/1 until I have to do the official coast guard documentation!

Bob,

The new tow rig needs a little more power (what doesn't?) but tows like a dream - I didn't even know the 342 was back there when I was towing it last week; it would tend to pull the F-350 around a bit so it's quite an improvment.

Terry,

I'm going to pick it up at the dealer in Pittsburgh and keep it up here for the summer (already have a slip at the lake). Then I'll bring it down in October when the season's over up here.

John,

Yep - can't wait to break in the 'captain's chair'. BTW, I think your boat's name should be "Takin' it from Behind" because of what happened to it at the canoe races!

Tom,

How's your progress coming? Can't wait to see it!

I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend. Be safe out there and remember those who are serving and those that have served.

Craig:

Here's a progress shot. This one will be installed Tuesday. The second is being delivered Tuesday and will be installed by Friday. I'm getting close. Thanks for asking.
