Default Tropical Storm Barry - seas up to 15ft tonight

Was totaly unaware of the approaching tropical storm until just a few minutes ago. Went on the NOAA site and I see after midnight tonight seas along the coast from Bonita north will be running 6 to 8 ft and 20 miles out will be 8 to 12's and up to 15ft. further north.
I hope none of you are affected badly and maybe let us know how things are as the storm passes thru.
Just looking out for you all,
Bob

Hey Bob, the storm was no big deal here. Just some much needed rain.

If I had your boat, a Cig. or especially an Apache - I'd have ben out for a wild ride!

Glad it was a non event. Hope the rains helped with the fires.

I have been in 15ft seas once. Only problem was the boat was only 33 ft. ( first offshore in 1990 ) Went to Bimini for lunch. Since it it was only 60 miles out and had plans to be back by mid afternoon made the mistake of not checking the weather. A front came thru and the seas in the Gulf Stream went from 4 ft to 15 ft in no time. Went out there in an hour and coming back took 3.5 hrs.
I learned some valuable lessons that day.
Bob
