I could not agree more. My college roomates father was a three star General in charge of Edwards AFB at the time and had set us up for a ride in a T-38 and I unfortunately had to decline due to a final on the same day. I have regretted that choice ever since. My roomate ended up transfering to the Air Force Acedemy and eventually flew F-15's for the Air Force.

Great vid.
I love the navy and the blue angles. I did 4 years. Served in the first gulf war. I was permentately stationed on the USS Midway CV-41 the oldest carrier in the fleet. Retired now(Muesum in San DIego) It was station out of Japan. I rode it back to the states for its decommisioning. We stopped in Seattle Wa before its final stop in San Diego. At that time the allowed Male family members to ride along from Seattle wa to San Diego . My dad flew from Chicago to Seattle for the ride. About a 5 day cruise. Ship had limited crew since some of the crew decided to stay in Japan on the USS independence CV-62. We swapped over in Hawaii and the Independece went to Japan.
Well during the 5 Day cruise with my dad. He said every video and pic does not give the experience. F/A 18's takng off and landing . Yes they did some flight ops for the guest. even a mini airshow with live ordinace out at sea. Every jet when they land goes full afteburner in case they miss the cable. It is heard throughout the boat. Then he commented on the ride of the ship. Its more side to side not bow up and down. When looking out a hanger bay door below the main deck..one minue you see all sky the next all sea.
My dream was to be a pilot but had $hit vision No real lasik back then.
1992 military cutbacks were at their peak. No stay in bonus. advanment was almost impossible. They were giving 15 yr retirments. So I opted out. ... Makes me wonder I would almost have my 20 years in and be under 40.

The Blue Angles are the best!!!!

Dennis
