I was thinking that 11:30 would be a good time to meet at Parrot Key for lunch getting us in right before the crowd. Bob and Dan I was thinking that I would put in at Lovers Key and meet you outside Big Carlos as I have to keep my speed relatively low 40-50 mph and I don't want to hold you all up all the way from Gordons pass also if I have any issues I won't have to idle to far. I will shoot for being right outside Big Carlos at 11:00. According to the National Weather Service we will have winds out of the NW at 20 mph with 2-4 ft seas with a chance of showers. Let me know if this works for those interested

John, Bob, Dan:

If you go, please call me on my cell phone. I would like to join you at the Parrot Key. Alas, it will be via car. I am hosting an open house and nautical flea market at the dealership and will be there all morning.

Sounds good John. I will check the weather tomorrow and then confirm.
Dan and Tom I will call you both on Friday after I get a read on the weather. I'm starting to think about becoming only a "good weather boater". I can hear the comments now - Bob's loosing it ! LOL

Bob, I am with you on the good weather boating. I just checked and the they are now predicting 3-5 ft seas with 15-25 mph wind. Not my kind of weather. I will keep checking as well but its not looking so good

We'd also like to go boating, but the weather has to cooperate. What happened to "sunny" Florida, this weather reminds us of Ohio (although not quite as cold). Hope to see everyone on the water.

Forecast for Saturday on the NWS
SOUTH WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS BECOMING SOUTHWEST AROUND
20 KNOTS. SEAS 2 TO 4 FEET BUILDING TO 4 TO 6 FEET IN THE
AFTERNOON. BAY AND INLAND WATERS CHOPPY. SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS
IN THE MORNING...THEN CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND SLIGHT CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON.

If this was the forecast for a fun run I would do it but not for a lunch trip. I was hoping for some thing a bit more tame for
our first run on the new engine. If some thing changes I might consider putting the boat in but it does look likely so I am out for lunch. The next 2 weekends I will be out of the country so I will look to go out next Feb 9-10.
