Just a few comments on the schedule:
1) you will notice that we will be going to C.J's instead of Guy Harvey's this year. Thought it would be a nice change. If it is a nice day they can accomodate us at the "Star Bar" on the deck and if coolish we can be indoors. It is new ownership, very nice couple and they want and appeciate our business.
2) you may also notice we are going back to the Naples Bay Resort. A small group of us went there in October and we felt it worth going back with a larger group. We were made to feel very welcome there, they want us back, the setting was gorgeous, lots of FREE dockage, food was good & plentiful and the price was right ! Sounds like what we are all looking for. While it is private, Club secretary Tom Cullen has opened that door for us again. Thanks, Tom.
3) with the January runs being south to Marco and Naples we felt it would be good if the March and April runs were north. We need to settle on the restaurant location for March and the beach location for April. Suggestions are still welcome as it is some time away.
4) while we are not planning an organized run to the Everglades City Seafood Festival it is an interesting and fun time. Traditionally a few boats go down each year from Naples / Marco and any of our FMO gang is welcome to join us. Some from the Cape area have talked about trailering to Marco and joining us there. Everglades City is about 25 miles south of Marco by water. Dont even think about going by car. The lineups are horrendous!
