Another worthy charitable event

I was speaking to Mike Smith ( SMITHBOY) today and he has ask me to bring to FMO membership attention that on Friday Jan. 16th starting at noon, there is a pre fund raising event party at The Tavern ( at Bayfront in Naples ). This is to benefit battered women and children in the Naples area. There will be a few offshore boats on display, a number of motorcycles and several models for your viewing pleasure. While the main fund raising event is Saturday they are kicking things off with this pre event party at the Tavern. All are welcome and since there is limited dockage Mike has suggest driving to Bayfront. See you there.

Some of us met at the Tavern on the Bay in support of the charity. I did not have Team PREDATOR there as the tide was 3 ft below normal with the strong north winds and we could not launch. A lot of water was sucked out of the river & San Carlos Bay. Tried at both Cape Coral & Punta Rassa but no chance. Dan made it with his boat but was delayed getting off the lift with the unusually low tide. Mike Smith and Chris Choffi had their boats on display as well.
It was a good time for a good cause.
