I would have like to have gone, but I am broke again.
Lets see last time I was down for 17 days, I put about 3.5 hours on the boat, and now I am broke again. This is getting really old, really fast.
Does anyone know the route? I may put my bow rider in the water, park somewhere, and take some pictures.

Hey, Frank sorry to hear your having more problems. On the route , I had a flyer and could be wrong on this but memory says home base is Salty Sam's in FMB. There is a card stop at Gasparilla Marina so I expect they would run on the outside to Boca Grande, in the pass and up the Intracoastal. From there to Burnt Store for lunch. After lunch I think they will likely run down the Intracoastal to Ft Myers Beach but not sure about that. I would think you would have a good chance at getting some good running shots as they head across Charlotte Harbor for Burnt Store. If I hear more definite info I will be glad to share.
I will be on the east coast hopefully heading for Nassau weather provided and then down to Turks and Caicos so will miss this one.

Tom. Nice to have a goal but don't relying on anyone else ! He, he.
I worked hard for a lot of years to be able to do what I'm doing now. I even once considered myself to be a workaholic but managed to get over that, thank goodness. I will start a thread in GD possibly tomorrow that will take everyone along on our trip. If it works out the ultimate destination is 1200 miles to the BVI where I will leave the boat for the month of May, do a poker run with them on Memorial Day and head back to FL. So we will see how it goes. Weather of coarse will be a big factor.
Keep well.
Bob
