Thank You Bob..................

During the fun run on Saturday we threw a blade on a prop and limped into Hamilton Harbour(along with our buddy Joe and his busted trans, thanks for stopping to help). Never one to miss a party, after lunch we idled to Keewaydin Island and hung out. We left the boat on Saturday at Marco River Marina and had a van take us back to Fort Myers.
I call Keith at Nor-Tech this morning to see about getting the boat back to Fort Myers. Bob was kind enough to loan me his props to get home and we made the trip back this afternoon(in 8-10 foot seas).
The boat and Bob's props are safely back at Sanibel Harbour and I will be returning the props to Nor-tech in the morning. The fact that a guy I have only met a few time would loan me 10k worth of props to get my boat home means the world to me and says alot about Bob and a club full of people willing to help.
Bob, Thanks again and I owe you a bottle of whatever you drink..........and just one period.............Seriously, Thank You.

I couldn't agree more! You guys are the best! After breaking down may family and I hitched a ride on almost every boat there and had offers on almost every other. Thanks EVERYONE for being such good friends. You guys made what could have been a disasterous day for my wife and kids something to laugh and talk about for a long time! THANK YOU!

Thanks Rodney and others for the kind words. Anytime I can be a bit of help, I'm happy to do so. I think you find that kind of mentality with just about everyone in Ft. Myers Offshore. As for buying me a bottle .... well Coke or Pepsi is my drink of choice, so there you go. LOL

I was glad to see that even tho you and Joe had some mechanical issues to deal with you both made it to the lunch stop and then down to Keewaydin. No way were you guys going to let that spoil your day ! My kinda people ! LOL

I am back in Canada now until next Wednesday when I return for hopefully the start of my trip to Bahama / Turks and Caicos and on down to the Islands if the weather co operates. We will see.

Keep well everyone until we can all get together again. I will keep in touch.

Bob

Thumbs up

Bob, thanks for the email on the Apr. 4 trip. We weren't able to swing it as we are moving up to a 30 and have been getting our dock and the 275 in order. Looking forward to joining up once we get the new boat broken in.
