Default Just Got Offered A Home In LeHigh Acres For 20k , Is This Area Bad ?

Live In Nj And Have A Friend Who Was A Major Devoloper There And Has Offered Me A Home That Needs Drywall For 20 K In Lehigh Acres . I Want To Know If The Area Is A Bad Place To Live And How Close To Water ? Any Boat Ramps That Can Handle 32 Skater At Low Tide And Trailer Parking .

Depends its pretty wild there now but for 20k....would have to see it but I would not leave the boat unattended for any period of time.It will probably turn but will be 5-10 years and never what it was dollar wise.

Geez were talking 20 K , u telling me you buy houses around there for 10 grand ??? rent the phucher out and ROI in less then 2 years while the economy is trying to turn around .. my .02 but what do i know

Dude what did I say but you are way off 20k div by 24 months is 833 a month + taxes and insurance and the money to finish it.Not saying it could not be a good investment but do you really think in a town were people are returning donated Christmas toys for cash you will find a tenant for 800 a month?Not sure what sec 8 pays in Florida but I would guess its not much.You can buy Houses cheaper in Detroit don't see a lot of difference.
Of course you could rip it down and build a nice pole barn for your boat.
