Default Boating at Cayo Costa, FL (32 photos)

Our 14 year old son, said "Dad let's go boating". Since he normally responds "no thanks"
when I ask him to come boating, it took advantage of the situation, and got ready for an
fternoon of boating, with my boy.

We went about 50 miles round trip, out the Myakka River, South down Charlotte Harbor,
West, to Boca Grande Pass, and then to a quite spot on Cayo Costa island.

Hi Frank

What a great day for a boat ride. We decided last minute to go for a spin. Turned out we ran to FMB for a bite to eat then to Burnt Store for a quick stop.

We also saw the 80 Nor Tech. Wow what a boat.

Hope to see you next time

Eric

Eric,

Yes, another great day for boating.

I was down your way, South tip of FMB with Jim in his 30 Skater LS7, last weekend. We had quite the adventure.

Burnt Store is only 20 miles from my dock.

Next planned outing is Sat May 7. I post here in FMO section, a few days before. You should join us.

Gulf was dead flat Saturday, I was stuck on the beach at Bonita with the in-laws, almost ran back across the alley to get the Pantera.

At least you got to look at the water. I spent all day changing spring hangers and a flat tire! If it ain't the damn boat, it's the frickin trailer!

That sucks, I hate trailers, but I hated being in a rack, and on the same river every weekend even worse.
