Boating with the Skater, SW Florida
Memorial Day weekend boating, in the Skater here in SW Florida.
It was a warm 91 degrees, bright and sunny, with a small wind. The Gulf water temp is at 85 deg.
We went a total of 52.9 miles, burned 22.9 gal of 93 octane for an average of 2.3mpg.

On the next run, Useppa usland, the PORT engine burped and quit.
I did not find anything definitively wrong, then, I found the insulation mat, under the
cowl, directly above the engine, was very loose, and was missing pieces, directly above
the air horn. I can only assume it had been breaking off, and was going through the
engine. All seems good now.
SW Florida has it's share of chaos. I avoid those spots.
