It was a great day for those that chose to head up to Punta Gorda in spite of the windy conditions. 15 boats arrived at Laishley’s while some others decided to go to area restaurants on Pine Island Sound rather than endure the chop on Charlotte Harbor. Some decided to leave their boats in port and drive up by car and motorcycle. We were glad to see all 80 people who showed up no matter how they got there. The food was great and Laishley’s were happy with the turnout. With the smaller group, dockage was not a problem. It is great venue that we will likely return to next year but before the season gets busy so we can get adequate dockage. By afternoon the winds had let up, the sun was shining and we had a great ride back home. Thank you all who came.

I think this is you Northernoffshore or is this just another jumper? LOL Any problem stopping the car up there? Was always curious about that. Jay was going to walk up once.
