Idle thought for a slow Friday - 46' Cougar vs 47' Apache
Seems like these two boats - 46' Cougar and 47' Apache - were built around the same time. Any thoughts on how they stack up against each other? They seem pretty similar in size, configuration (trips), etc.
Conventional wisdom seems to be that Apache is the greatest invention since wet water, but what the hell, it's Friday. :D |

I've personally always thought the Apache's looked better. Cougars got funky lines.

" Plain Vanilla" last summer a triple #3 boat that was in good running order and presented itself well ( along with some "history" as the original owner was Vanilla Ice).

I didn't mean anything negative, but the deck lines around the cockpit just don't appeal to me and the way the strakes come all the way up gives the bow that turned up nose look. To each thier own I guess...
