It was a 5.8 FSi (injected). Never got a chance to run it under boost.

You'll want to talk to someone who knows something about ECM's in case you have to retard spark. There should be plenty of experts on that on the board here.

I have a 2000 Donzi 22ZX with a 350 mag mpi. I put on a procharger 4 years ago and have had no problems at all. We boat almost every weekend and live in Florida. I have no idea how many hours I have on the boat, but I'm sure I do at least 100 per year. The speed went from 64.5 mph stock to 78.8 on GPS with no other changes except prop. The system puts out 5 psi. Make sure you get a fuel pressure gauge so you can keep an eye on things. You will also need to run 93 octane. I would highly recommend the set up. I supercharged a 300 Mercury tempest small block years ago with a wiend 177 at 5 psi of boost on an Alpha. It was a 21' Formula. Once it was dialed in, I ran that setup hard for countless hours with out failure. I do believe that the Tempest had alot of good parts right from Merc though.
