Crescent City Kilos
I just saw this on the Scream & Fly site..Dammit I was gonna be there but had to stay for building maintenance people who never came..
Here is the Quote"Bass Boat Record Falls in Crescent City, FL -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- David Shook from Hendersonville, NC is the new king of Bass Boating. David drove his Mercury powered Allison 2002 bass boat through the APBA/UIM Approved kilometer at an average speed of 112.448 MPH shattering the old Jaco's record of 105. That speed was an average of passes made in both directions (to offset any wind assistance) over a timed kilometer. There were also some Super Light Tunnel (inflatables) that ran this morning and at least one of those records was broken as well. Next up is Ken Gouty in a Playcraft Pontoon with two...yes TWO 496 Mercruisers. I know Ken is already planning on putting blowers on those motors...YAHOO - pass me a beer and a brat and turn up the tunes - that's my kind of pontoon boat. Ken used to have what now appears to be a woefully underpowered pontoon boat with a single 300 ProMax on it. ============= I'll be there in the AM on Thursday and Friday.. |
