Boat will be at KW PR, should be finished in time. Twin 480's and ASD-8's will give me appr. 80 mph. Triple 480's will not fit in a 4300 V but will fit in the 5000 v Nortech. Both boats do approx 75, with power mentioned above. My hull is a light layup, slightly different drive height compared to the one I test rode in and has a different rake on props. I changed to a 6" exhaust vs the 5 and added a butterfly valve in the thrust tubes to shut them once on plane to help with acceleration for the midrange. A very user friendly package. Boat sits nice in the water, not much different then my last 4300 which had twin 750's and 5's. I think it's a great package, better fuel burn, and priced very close to twin 750 package on last boat. Hope this helps. Jeff

Diesel - Compare my 30 ft Cruisers with a gas one and the fuel mileage os SOOO much better with the diesels - a gas boat will only outrun mine by 3 - 4 mph. Complete replacement engine packages are close in price as Volvo now has 4 cylinders making the same HP and Torque and my older 6's.

Cruiser = diesel

Plain and simple.

Diesel,
no question, the added range and and reliability is what would make my decision.
