Lenco, the electric trim tab people make a nice lift cylinder that is not very big in diamater.

I got tired of replacing electric hatch lft motor every season, so the guys at Falcon put in a hydraulic system with two thin side rams. Works great, faster, quieter and more room in the engine comparment. I will try to check this weekend to see who makes the parts.

While on the subject, anyone tried those little electric boxes that are supposed to speed up the openers by diverting more power/amps to them? Do they work?

Granger calls them "Linear Actuators" page 276 of the book I have (2001-2002) |
