Friday, July 15
7:00 pm Preparty at Ugly's - Cash Bar. Should be packed if last year is any indication.
Saturday, July 16
9:00 am - 10:45 am Registration and boats in the water. I'm asking everyone to register by 10:00, in hopes the line will be short by the time the captains' meeting starts.
10:45 am Mandatory Captains' Meeting. Should last 30 min.
11:15 am Leave for group photo at mouth of Duck Creek. The official pace boat will lead us out. James Easton will be in the helo with Tyson Garvin to film the event. Don't point your camera at James while he's shooting you (per James).
11:43 am Two minutes warning smoke.
11:45 am Pace boat for performance course takes off toward sailboat bridge. Pass the pace boat when the flag goes down to allow a fair start so no one complains that they weren't ready or lined up with the group. I have a feeling you guys won't wait for the flag to drop.
The leisure course group will head toward the dam so they'll be out of the way.
6:30 pm Last hands played.
7:30 pm Awards Ceremony.
8:00 pm Cool Down Party. Should be packed and all "good guys" havin' a good time after a long day on the lake.
The performance course:
1. Tera Miranda Marina & Resort
2. Cedar Port Marina
3. Honey Creek (Boat Stop)
4. the back of Drowning Creek (Boat Stop)
5. Arrowhead Yacht Club
The leisure course:
1. Cedar Port Marina
2. the back of Drowning Creek (Boat Stop)
3. Honey Creek (Boat Stop)
4. Tera Miranda Marina & Resort
5. Arrowhead Yacht Club
Safari Joe will be one of the boat stops. He said he's bringing some neat things to look at. He's also bringing wild animals!
