Question on Mercury 300 promax
I know this has probably been beat like a dead horse, but, please bear with me this is my first post.
O.K.. I have run across a very good deal on a 31' Fountain with twin 2000 pro-max 300's they have 30hrs on them. I was wondering about the dependability of these engines. A local mechanic says they blow powerheads like crazy. I figured if anyone knew it would be here. The boat they are on is a 31' fountain sportfish. I won't be fishing from it, but will be going to the Bahamas quite often. Any help would be appreciated.
