Fire destroys Austin's Oasis restaurant

AUSTIN — An early morning blaze destroyed the popular Oasis restaurant today.
Fire quickly engulfed the restaurant including its famous wood porches that overlook the cliffs of Lake Travis.
Flames could be seen from several miles away, and a plume of smoke was visible from downtown Austin, authorities said.
Going to miss that place. Was always a lot of fun to sit out on the ledges with friends. Best veiw of the sunset in Austin.

Oh man. We almost went there this weekend. My wife had just commented that she had never been there. Did it happen today?
