Hey Kaama - I recently went down the ICW from Freeport to Pt. Isabel. It was a neat trip, we may try to tag up with you - keep us posted on your plans. Where are you thinking of launching from?

Pt O'Conner is near Victoria, my wife's hometown. Don't know the ramps near there, but may be able to research it, what size boat you running?
We went in a buddy's 26' express, making a solid 40mph most of the way. We made the 275 mile trip (one way) in 10 hs, the return we did in 8 hours.

O.K. -- I'll only use one engine. I will be in a 30' Spectre. The funny part is, we may need you in the intercoastal, because the boat doesn't like flat water. I may need your wake to get some air under the boat.

Not so fast - the express is what we used last time, since I was an invited guest. If we join you I'll be running in my '05 Superboat 30 Y2K , and maybe we can use each other's wake, LOL! The SB doesn't like flat either.....
