Default Ride needed for GLH's Milk Run!!!

It's official... Vickie and I will be in St. Albans, Vermont next Thursday for the weekend. We would love to bum a ride with someone for the milk run. We'll throw in dinner or some gas or some drinks or something for the opportunity to make this run with someone. Only catch is Vickie is not the most experienced boater and a larger boat would be best for her. That's not to say she gets sick or anything, but she's not accustomed to hanging on if the water is rough. I'm MORE than willing to play the fender and line beoch for the day!! (I'm good at it since my boat has been down so long!)

I don't want this to seem like we're begging for a ride, but we'll be there so.... well.... we'd love to go for a ride.

Anyone got room for a couple of Michiganders???

Had over 330 hours and started acting down, I think ealry season gas from local marina did not help...

In redneck talk... It done blowed up...

So got a new Merlin 3 Block new set of pistons and rings and rebuilding the whole thing at 509CI with CR up from 7.5 to 8.1 to 1.

Did the other engine last year the same way. I am also adding chillers under the blowers to both engines, should be getting shy of 700 hp's per mills after all the thinkering. Pretty much the max I want with XR drives.

Much appreciated and we may take you up on it. But, Ccorrect me if I'm wrong... but the Turtle is in NY... right? We'll be in VT... shortest distance is across the lake so we'd still need a ride to the Turtle...

You could be picked up at the ramp in Colchester Saturday morning. And hitch a ride back to the ramp, later in the day from the Turtle.

But your best bet is to go to the Turtle early Saturday and cross to the start with the crew, besides the run ends at the Turtle your car there would be a better bet. Also going to the Turtle from St Albans is almost as close as going to the ramp in Colchester.
