I felt a vibration as we were coming back into Deltaville, VA after the Rappahannock River Boaters Association Radar Shootout. DocManRich37 and his wife Jenn were with us, and MS was driving. As soon as we came off plane, what was remaining of the prop blade came off. It looks like it came loose and took one or two passes while still barely attached and pretty well chewed up the cavitation plate, annode, and pick-up for my drive shower.

There is NO indication we hit ANYTHING. There is one ding on another blade, but I am pretty sure the ejected blade clipped it on the way to its new home. The enire lower is spotless. It appears to have just stress cracked and sheared its way off.
I have a replacement case in the garage already. Already shopping for props, lower is off the boat, and will be going to mechanic tomorrow for a once over, and gear/bearing swap to replacement case. I need to call Maxx Machine and get a new pick-up/hose. It could have been much worse. I was actually more pissed about losing my Oakleys earlier that day than this damage.

Actually, the entire propshaft, lower (aside from cavitiation plate), and carrier bearing look, appear, and feel fine. They are still going in for a 100% once over.
I think I would have rather blown another damn trailer tire. This REALLY needs to be the end of bad $hit this season. I know others have it much worse than me, but its been something every trip.
I will put the old lower case up for sale after a bit. Its still good for a beater or work boat.
Stock 28P B1.
(Now looking for a LH 28P B1 Stock)
