anybody know if lock 3 on the kentucky river is open yet?

Can I get there from the Chesapeake Bay by boat? If not...then I don't know!!! :D :D Just funnin'!! Hope it is for ya!!

I have about a 9 boat crew wanting to do the Carrolton to Frankfort run. I did it a long time ago and we are just trying to do something different this year for the forth of July. I had heard that lock 3 was closed and should be open soon. If not I guess we'll just head to Cinnci.

Sign4boat....If your around the 4th we need to hook up. We will have everything from a 35' fountain to 19' glastron. :drink:

Thanks sign4boat I appreciate it. We've all ...been there, done that... with cumberland. When we were down there last summer we got hassled by WP every day. When they came on the dock where we were slipped and started writing tickets that was pretty much it. It wasn't even a holiday :(

After being a boat owner for 20+ years I've covered about every lake in the midwest. I haven't been on the Ohio for quite a few years and thought maybe we would try it again. Just trying to find something different...I like the adventure!
