I believe skater uses harwood scoops, which is the same as most pro-stockers and other drag racers in the NHRA.

What was noted to me about the airbrushing on the scoops was that where the rivets appear, they indented the scoops for the reel feel effect..... :drink: :drink: :drink:

As far as the styling on the Skater, well....everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I feel Peter designs his boats for the aero and hydro dynamics first and foremost. I am sure if a customer wants to add some sort of custom flare, vents or scoops, he would more than likely do it as long as it doesn't effect the performance of the boat.

From some of the comments made about the cockpit of Skaters, my guess is you haven't seen my photos of this Skater. The boat has power windshields built into the dash that disappear when not needed. Plus checkout the other cabinets as well.
You just may have a change of opinion... :drink:

Here is a different Skater below:

And yes you saw monitors in the dash. The boat has built in cameras in the bow as well as the stern. Look at the center of the stern and you will see one... ;)

The seating seemed to be set up real nice in this boat as well:

Now how many chances do people actually get to see what the inside of a Skater is made of ?

Here is some of the cleanest glasswork you will find in the industry:
