O.K. so I spot some boat stuff on E-Bay. The seller says he has other boat stuff for sale. I contact him and arrange to buy a drive from him.

The drive arrives and I notice that it has signs of corrosion and they had bondoed the rear cover on. i called the guy who tells the drive is fine, and he had a guy look at it before it left. I take his word for it and install it on the boat and head for Lake Havasu.

Within a couple of miles in the water, the unit has issues. I put the boat back on the trailer, where it continues to leak all of the gear lube out through the lower seals.

Contacted the guy and he says he will help with repairs or refund the money and take the drive back. I had an estimate done to reseal the whole drive,$556, to which he offers to pay to reseal just the lower,$300.

I decided to send the unit back, Now I can't get the guy to respond to IM's, E-Mail, or phone calls.

Now the question, where should I go from here??

Did you pay through paypal??? Contact them in there resolution department, give them the tracking info of you sending it back. They should be able to help if you used them!!!

He hasn't sent the trucking co. to pick up the drive as of yet. I bought it through Paypal , but not directly off of EBAY

at least 2 weeks.....He was suppost to be in Mexico taking care of business, but he has responded to and added new adds on EBAY since then. Today I had people in other states call him today, and he answered the phone for them, but not for anyone in my area code.

Did you still need a drive??? I have opened a new marine repair shop right next to you in Peoria!! I have brand new drives in stock if you need one, you can buy it off the self and install yourself or I can do it for you!! Give me a call at 623-693-0470 ask for Jim.

I'd still contact paypal, they may be able to help!!! Don't wait to long I think theres a 30 day window
