Default 27 foutain

I'm getting ready to take possession of a 2000 fever from a
friend. It's a great deal and I know where it's coming from so
no worries on care. However I have resevations due to how the boat performs (low end) it's never had any a-- from the
get, it just takes so long to get out of the hole. I'm wondering
if it just under powered, wrong pitch or just a lack in driving
skills? This guy babies his boat so I'm pretty psyched. I'm
going for a test drive in a couple of days and would love any
input from someone who might have one. I have some
plans for it as well in case anyone else has tweeked one.

I also have a 27 fever, and yes they are a dog out of the hole, best you can do is use your tabs and trim to help you get on plane faster. After you get the hang of it you it won't be as slow out of the hole. Good luck with the boat post some pics if you do get it!!!

Same when I had mine. Dog out of the hole. Full tabs and drive in was how I did it. When fully loaded with people had to make a few stand at the windshield until on plane.

Sounds like an old outboard boat I had. I would hate to spend all that money on a nice boat and have to ask people to lean forward so we can get going.

My 1999 is slow out of the hole too. My boat came with a Hydromotive prop. Changed to a Bravo I and its much better out the hole but lost maybe 2 mph on top. Mid range and fuel milage improved with the Bravo prop.
