Tried Q&A section, no luck, who has 500efi's w?Vortec SC's.........

I am VERY interested in a boat, 2002, with 500efi's and Vortech SuperChargers. I need some feedback on who has what experience with this setup. They reportedly put out about 680-700hp now.

Would like some longterm ideas on maintenance and anything else.

I have a 2002 38' T/S with 500 EFI's and Vortechs. I have no complaints whatsoever. Awesome package!!! What boat are you looking at?

A buddy of mine has them on his 36 APACHE he has had a couple of head gasket problems. His are 740 hp, and he has ran them for the past couple of years, and he put 200 to 300 hours a year on his boat. Drives are a problem from time to time, godd luck shopping. Steve
