NAVMAN Fuel FLow Meters????
Anyone installed the NAVMAN fuel flow meters, and hooked them up to the GPS? I am thinking about doing this setup but wanted some opinions.
Also The setup may be an issue. I have 2 gas tanks, which 1.flow through the fuel filter,
2. then through electric pumps,
3. then into a 5 gallon "dump tank"
4. Then 3 lines come out, and go to 3 engines
5. and 3 return lines will dump back into the 5 gal "dump tank"
IF I put one sensor between each filter and pump, I should not have to worry about the return lines correct.
The return lines never go back to the main tanks, so whatever the meter says should be accurate right??
Thanks for any help and experience with Fuel flow meters.

Re: NAVMAN Fuel FLow Meters????
i have them on my boat and they work great. where ever you put it make sure there is a filter before the sender. i had to mount mine before the factory seperator/filter so i had to put an in line filter just before the sender. also mount them vertically if you can.

I wanted to run them with my Navman but the 500HP thing scared me away. I will not lean out a engine just to have another gadget

Re: NAVMAN Fuel FLow Meters????
Thanks guys.
Glassdave, was there a simple single wire from each meter that connects to the gps? And is it just a power, ground, and whatever runs to the GPS hookup? Also is it just an "inline" barbed style installation, where I can cut a fuel line in half and put it in with clamps? Thanks, Darren
Stormrider, I'll need the twin engine style, is that what you have?
