The Extremes are designed for wet but can be used on dry. They work great on wet systems and will have no problem with the power you're running. We've put them on bigger engines than yours and haven't seen any power loss like some of the other mufflers. PM me or Email me for OSO member pricing.

Semper Fi,
Are the Gibson's that you lost the power with the Transom mounted version or the clamp on version?
Was it the Bullet style or the Power Tip version.

I heard from Gibson that someone mounted a clamp on version to far on to the tip and that blocked off some opening inside the muffler that reduced his performance. When it was mounted they way they wanted it was ok.

I installed GGB's and they have been great, no power loss and a definite reduction in sound.

I just ordered GGB's through Trick earlier this week. They seemed to be the best for my application.

Thanks for the clarification. Wow, that's a huge hit in speed/horsepower loss. I too have the thru transom bullets. I'm anxious to see what top end I get this weekend. The reason for my purchase was the great results they had in the Hot Boat test report with an HP525. Both quiet operation and minimal effect on RPM. I may have to put my Corsa's back on.

I am running CMI dry pipes on an NA 540, 680 h.p. I just ordered GGB's Extreme from Trick Marine. I should have them on for the weekend.
